Barclays launches two new banking videos online

Barclays has introduced two new videos, which are available to view online and will help customers understand all the fundamentals they need to know about their everyday banking for savings and mortgages .

One of the videos gives customers an outline of an effective guide to savings, with an emphasis on ISAs . Presented by Andy Gray, Head of Mortgages and Savings at Barclays, the ISA video gives customers all the essentials they need to know about maximising their tax-efficient savings with an ISA. As the ISA allowance increases in April for the 2011/12 tax year, customers are encouraged to ensure they get the tax free returns they are entitled to.

The other video aims to help de-mystify mortgages and simplify the basics that customers need to know. Again, it is presented by Andy Gray and includes a "jargon buster" to help customers figure out their LTVs from their APRs, allowing them to make the right decision when they are trying to decide what type of mortgage is suitable for them.
