Barclays, online banking service is to get a face lift so users get an enhanced service.
New online tools such as calculators will be available with the site getting a new look and feel. The changes will be brought in over the next 12 months.
The online banking service has been available for the past ten years and Barclays currently has over three million customers. Out of which approx one million use the facility everyday.
According to analysts UK Payments, customers who have online banking access use internet banking for more than just checking balances. With the addition of a calculator and other tools will help to keep Barclays in the online banking competitive arena.
Figures from UK Payments show that the number of Brits using online banking has risen from 7.9 million in 2001 to 21.5 million in 2008.
